Yes, Yes, Yes, we saw this Rare Bird today at Fort Stevens State Park. WHAT
A SIGHT!!!!
Seeing both birds side by side, taken Photos only 4 feet away. This is THE
BIRD OF THE YEAR. The birds were present 10am-12pm, during our entire visit
with observations made by 10 observers. I(Patrick)observed one bird catch a
moderate sized crab, then smash it against a nearby rock of the jetty
several times before finally consuming it, while the other bird fed on
smaller prey upon the sandy beach.
