In the wake of the WSJ's recent interest in the eagles
over Woodland Park Zoo, the WSJ is apparently planning
another eagle story.

Purely for your information. let me quote a naive item today
from the U.S. Geological Survey's Office of Outreach:

>Press/Media Inquiries
>Wall Street Journal and Bald Eagles: USGS Forest and
>Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center Wildlife Biologist
>Karen Steenhof was contacted on May 4 by the Wall Street
>Journal, for an upcoming article about the nesting and
>wintering habits of bald eagles in populated areas.
>Steenhof provided data and discussed the status of bald
>eagles and the work of the field station staff in midwinter
>bald eagle counts. The article is scheduled to be published
>in the Wall Street Journal around May 20. (Karen Steenhof,
