..................Went down last week to Lodi, Calif. to see my daughter
and my 3 grandchildren. Did some birding at Lockford...just east of
Lodi(my daughter lives in this small towm. Saw 3 'lifers' there!!!!!!
..................Then visited Coloma NWR, and Sacramento NWR.From there
I headed up to N.E. Calif. to stay at Tulelake, Calif for 2 days where I
visited Tule Lake NWR, and Lower Klamath NWR(just like last year,
except that this time I spent much more time here, and did more
extensive birding. Lodi area wet and cool at this time, with cold winds
and 52' temps at Klamath Basin during the day. Even drove through a
snowstorm uo U.S. 97 toward LaPine, and over even snowier Willamette
pass. The sun did not warm my brow much during the week and a half, but
birding was good. Will report more in the next day or two. This listing
will probably be of especial interest to Oregon birders, and those who
have visited So central Ore. near Calif.

......Have a wonderful day.
