I cannot believe this fluffheaded suggestion to light up buildings,
bridges, what-ever for mere decorative display! What a waste of energy,
resources, and lack of regard for the impact on both humans living around
the continuous blazing lights and other creatures (especially the
migrating birds.)

How about something substantive with long-lasting benefits to the
community at large? First comes to mind is the need to ADD more green
space, wildlife space, space for feeding/resting migrants, space where
humans can find peace, quiet, clean air and sunshine with designated
trails to minimize impact on most of the rest of the area---yes a
MILLENNIUM NATURE PARK, a big one in King County!
