Tweets,
A colleague has sent this "brilliant" commentary to our mayor; thought
everyone would also find this worthy of "reflection."
Puns well spent,

Subject: If you want to LIGHT something up......

.....how about lighting up the darkness of human ignorance? Light
pollution has already all but destroyed Seattle as a star-gazing town.
The injudicious and wasteful use of electricity has already destroyed much
salmon habitat. Is no one thinking energy conservation nowadays? Must we
continue to wantonly destroy habitat and resources for profit and hubris?
And what about our migratory birds? Don't they deserve the benefit of
darkness at night, to pursue their paths in peace?

Please, Mayor Schell - give this unenLIGHTened idea a bit more reflection.

Sincerely,

Julia H. Tracy
