Columbia Estuary Report - 5/19/98

Yeah, they're still there. They seem a bit more wary than they used to.
Also present are two WHIMBREL, a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, 3 WANDERING TATTLERS
and a very lonely WESTERN SANDPIPER.

A substantial migrant wave passed through the Astoria Mitigation Bank near
Astoria Airport. 12 WESTERN TANAGERS, 6 BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS, an OLIVE-
SIDED FLYCATCHER, a WESTERN WOOD PEWEE, lots of YELLOW WARBLERS, VAUX'S
SWIFTS and CLIFF SWALLOWS joined the regulars at the site.
