One BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEW was seen on the 18th a quarter mile south of
the
Westport jetty. It was last seen flying northeast at dusk. Two
BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEWS have been at the South Jetty of the Columbia
through the 19th.

WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCHES have, at least temporarily, expanded their
range northward and are being seen on the Olympic Peninsula in Clallam
County and in Poulsbo.

A BLACK TERN was seen at the Longacres pond near Tukwila on the 18th.
Two BLACK TERNS were seen at the Clay Street marsh in Auburn on the
16th.

Two WHITE PELICANS and a HARRIS' SPARROW were at the Nisqually Refuge on
the 17th. The sparrow was seen on the outer dike trail near the set of
double benches.

BANK SWALLOWS were seen on the 16th with NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS
just west of Marblemount in Skagit County. A LEWIS' WOODPECKER was seen
on a nearby fence post.

A DUSKY FLYCATCHER was found in Federation Forest State Park on the
16th.

The SOLITARY SANDPIPER was last reported from the Percival Storm Water
Retention Ponds near Olympia on the 13th.
