Sightings for Tuesday, May 19th
The DUSKY FLYCATCHER was not relocated today.

A BANK SWALLOW was reported from Iona.

At Q.E. Park was 1 WESTERN TANAGER.

An OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was seen in the 4100 block of Magill.

Monday, May 18th
A DUSKY FLYCATCHER was heard calling and singing at Cecil Green Park. The
bird was located along the Tower Beach Trail off NW Marine Drive. Also near
this location were a PARASITIC JAEGER and 200+ COMMON TERN.

Sighted at Iona were a WILSON'S PHALAROPE, SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER and a
SOLITARY SANDPIPER.

At Colony Farm were a PEREGRINE FALCON, VIRGINIA RAIL, a WESTERN KINGBIRD,
and a BARN OWL.

Sunday, May 17th
>From Iona were a male REDHEAD, a pair of RING-NECKED DUCKS, 3 PECTORAL
SANDPIPERS, and a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER.

Large numbers of BRANT were still present between the Tsawwassen and Coal
Port Jetties.

The Reifel Refuge reported 1 TURKEY VULTURE.

Campbell Valley R.P. reported 2 BARRED OWLS.

Saturday, May 16th
Two AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS were seen 2km east of the foot of 112th Street
on Boundary Bay.

An AMERICAN AVOCET was present in evening at Reifel. Also reported were 3
PEREGRINE FALCONS and 3 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS.

At Blackie Spit were a WHIMBREL, 100+ COMMON TERNS, 4 CASPIAN TERN, and an
AMERICAN PIPIT. Nearby at Crescent Beach were 3 RED KNOT.

The Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty had reports of a RUDDY TURNSTONE, and 84 BRANT.

A single WESTERN KINGBIRD was seen at Colony Farm.

Friday, May 15th
An AMERICAN AVOCET was seen at the Reifel Refuge along with 14 SNOW GEESE,
and 2 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS.

A CHIPPING SPARROW was seen with a flock of GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS at
UBC's Botanical Gardens.

Good numbers of BRANT were seen in the Point Roberts area.

Thursday, May 14th
At Iona today were 1 REDHEAD, 20 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, and 10 SEMIPALMATED
SANDPIPERS. BLACK SWIFTS were reported from Iona and Sea Island.

A WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE was reported from Maplewood Flats.

>From the Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty a MARBLED GODWIT, and a WHIMBREL were
reported.
