The memorial day weekend is coming up and no other holiday, save Labor Day
Weekend is as hard on Ft Stevens and the Shorebird flats especially. If you
have not seen the Curlews and have been thinking of doing so this weekend,
get there Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning.

By the end of the day Saturday, I have every reason to believe that the
combination of unleashed dogs, mollusk and crab pickers and lost 4-wheel
drive trucks will have convinced these birds to move elsewhere.
