BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK: a female visited my feeder in Albion, Whitman Co.,
WA, at 1100 PDT, May 20, 1998. She feed on a few sunflower seeds then left.
I didn't see her again (but I left soon after that). She was my first one
of the year.

EVENING GROSBEAK: There is still a pair feeding at my sunflower seed feeder.

CASSIN'S FINCH: One female is still hanging around.

BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD: A male is visiting the feeder on a regular
basis. A female that visits regularly might be this species (I need to look
at her more closely).

MOURNING DOVE: I think they are nesting again. A bird kept going down a
branch on the cedar trees just as they did a month ago when they were
nesting there. I will try to get a better look.
