I spent last weekend birding in Hazelton B.C. with my Bro-inlaw Ray
Sturney. The highlight of the trip was my first breeding plumage Pacific Loon
which was on Ross lake always keeping a wary eye on the resident pair of
Common Loons and staying to the opposite side of the Lake giving us great
looks at it's plummage as we walked the trail around the Lake.
Total species for the weekend 85 and when we returned home there was a pair
of Cinnamon Teal and three Northern Shovelers on our pond.
