Indeed. But you are evading the central point: the quest for knowledge
of its own accord without an evaluation of said quest's possible
repercussions on its subject is an ethical crime. You could never
convince me that stuffing a living bird into a -65 freezer would be a
justifiable quest to begin with. Result? The bird's metabolism slows
down. Earth shattering revelation here.
