This morning we drove 11 miles northeast of Grand Coulee up in the hills
above McGinnis Lake and saw 3 LEWIS'S WOODPECKERS. They stayed around a
large pine tree that has the top broken out of it. They reportedly
nested there last year. One flew right over my head about 20 feet up. No
picture. :-(
