Subject: Bristle-thighed Curlews: last sightings
Date: May 23 16:11:28 1998
From: Mike Patterson - mpatters at orednet.org

The BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEWS apparently left the South Jetty of the
Columbia River early Thursday (5/21/98) with the shift in prevailing
winds to SSW. This was as expected.

I am very interested in reliable last sightings from all other BTCU
locations. Please e-mail me directly.

I will continue to update the Curlew Fallout Page with sightings, photos
and commentaries as they become available.
