Both locations would be unusual for nesting goshawks. In fact, I
doubt the validity of both. However, I take it as an indication
that there should be greater effort to engage with rehabilitators
to try to use their unique position for "discovering" new breeding
locations for rare native animals. Then again, I would really
have to study up on how to distinguish a downy red-tailed hawk,
Cooper's hawk or whatever from a similar age goshawk, probably
pretty tricky business.
