Subject: Speaking of orioles - Hooded

Good morning Tweets!

The Hooded Oriole pair (I'm assuming it's the same birds) have returned to
our neighborhood to nest again this year. Different nesting sight within a
quarter mile of last year's. Interestingly, they continue to return to the
palm tree next door (the same one they used last year) to strip long pieces
off the edge of the leaves for their nest.

Since I haven't seen any other Hooded Orioles I got to wondering if these
birds mate for life or if they re-pair up with the same bird each year then
go their separate ways after breeding season. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
