Jacki:

The Baltimore Oriole is a very rare bird out here. There are only two
prior records from Washington. So it's an exciting event.

I phoned Kevin Aanerud about your report. Kevin, who is not on e-mail at
home, chairs the Washington Bird Records Committee. He would very much
like to see your bird as it would be a first for him in the state, and also
because the Committee will want to document the record as thoroughly as
possible.

If the bird is still showing up, and if you don't mind having a visitor,
would you please call Kevin at 206/523-6195? Kevin will be very respectful
of your privacy.

I hope it is still coming in and that you have been able to get a photo of
it. Thanks for reporting it on Tweeters!
