Wednesday, May 20, 8:17 PM: Hi. This is Dennis Paulson calling Wednesday
evening. I just wanted to report a BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEW at the base of the
Ocean Shores Jetty at 4 PM this afternoon. It was with a WHIMBREL. They hung
around there for a while and then they flew over and fed around the houses on
the other side of the road from the jetty for awhile. We left them happily
feeding there. I think because the WHIMBREL was with the BRISTLE- THIGHED they
weren't all that tame, but I managed to get close enough to get photos of both
of them and it was quite an exciting thing to see.

Thursday, May 21, 8:25 AM: The following report was received yesterday at
9:15 PM from Kyle Strode (?) (206) 783-5676, who while hiking on Tiger
Mountain very near Issaquah found a GOLDEN PHEASANT on one of the trails near
a power line cut foraging in the brush. Thank you.
