Hi All,
I just returned from the Grand Coulee area and wanted to post a couple
of things I saw while there. While in Grand Coulee I saw what appeared to
be a COMMON GRACKLE approximately 1 mile from the location reported last
week by Jerry Converse. I am an old southern boy so I have seen quite a
few of these over the years, so I'm pretty sure of the ID.
About 5 miles outside Ephrata along Hwy 283 (about 1.5 miles) past the
junction with Hwy 28 heading toward the interstate I saw a BURROWING OWL
perched on a power line. I havn't seen any of them in that area in quite a
while, so I wanted to let everyone know.
