Yesterday, 24 May, a posting regarding a sighting of a Black-and-white
Warbler was put on the notice board at the annual Wenas campout. The
sighting was made by an East Lake Audubon Society group at "8:30 am" in
riparian vegetation along Dry Creek sw of the campground. This species is a
very rare bird anywhere in Washington. I am asking if anyone "out there"
observed or know of someone who observed this bird; and if so, would you
supply details of this sighting? Any documentation you could give would be
most appreciated. Please describe how you separated this species from the
Black-throated Gray Warbler.
