Hi Gail,
I was once canoeing on Dry Falls lake in Eastern Wa. and found a Barn
Swallow nest. This lake was surrounded by high rocky cliffs and the
Barn Swallow nest was on a ledge not too far off the water. I could
almost look right into the nest. I assume they nested in this kind of
habitat before barns were built. It is an interesting thought.
