Thanks to (sorry, I've already forgotten name) for forwarding the
posts from Attu. What an amazing season they are having! Since
this year was the first time they had offered two-week stays for
quite a while, I gave serious thought to going, then thought, naaa,
why stay holed up from the elements listening to the radio for
days just to run out and score a soggy little Siberian vagrant
now and then?

Bad decision!
