For the most recent bird news call the Washington Ornithological
Society's BirdBox at 425 454-2662.

BLACK SWIFTS have been reported over Madrona in Seattle on the 27th and
at the Kent Ponds on the 25th. Also at the Kent Ponds on the 25th were
2 BANK SWALLOWS.

A SORA has been easily seen at Shoveler Pond off Wahkiakum Trail at the
Montlake Fill in Seattle through the 25th.

Four WILSON'S PHALAROPES were at the Damon Point Pond at Ocean Shores on
the 24th.

An ARCTIC LOON has been present at Yaquina Bay in Newport, Oregon from
the 16th through the 23rd. Call the Portland tape at 503 292 0661 for
more details.

The Ocean Shores Bristle-thighed Curlew has not been reported since the
23rd. The South Jetty birds were last reported on the 21st. The
Bandon, Oregon bird was last reported on the 23rd.
