I received a call from a reporter with the Seattle Times this morning
asking questions about the Mayor's relies, etc. (Apparently my message to
my astronomy buddies made its way there). Sounds like th press is really
just starting to get wind of the problems associated with this idea. She
may be calling back. I've been reading the information on the web pages
regarding the problems with lights and migratory birds, and am doing
similar light pollution research re: astronomy. Anyway, thought people
might be encouraged to hear our message is getting out!
