On a short after-work hike today, enjoyed sitting on Rattlesnake Ledge and
looking into the clean skies. Was joined by a pair of peregrines, one TV,
two baldies fishing the lake, and something very large and brown 1000'
below and flying away (I had no binoculars). One chipmunk. Two crows and
one Steller's jay. Also a squirrel with a yellow tummy. Bushtits heard
but not seen.
