My neighbor is developing some high school marine science classes for the
Quilcene/Brinnon area of Hood Canal. She is trying to find someone who is
familiar with birds in that area. Anyone interested in helping out?

On another note, the local chickadees (not to be confused with juncadees)
fledged 5 chicks this morning. The parents kept busy badgering the
attendant crow while the little ones peered out the cavity entrance and
took wing. Life is such a miracle! A bit over a month from egg to flying
bird.
