I'm going to be on San Juan Island in Puget Sound for two weeks
in August studying killer whales. I'll have a few days to myself
afterwards and am looking for suggestions on places to see some
good Northwest birds. I'll probably have a car.

It will be my first trip to the area. Any suggestions?

Also, any unusual places to stay near the coast?
