Just got back from the Cheese Factory clear cut and the CLAY-COLORED SPARROW.
He was just where Eric Kreig said he would be. Of course, the fact that he was
singing at the top of some scotch broom in front of Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
made him much easier to find.;-}

Ruth got some good pictures, from as closes as 10 feet, and we all had some
good views. I'm planning on going back tomorrow morning when I have more time
to bird the area and don't have to rush off somewhere.

It was a long "twitch" for me as I live about 2 miles away.
