Once at Nisqually I saw a weasel emerge from the tall grass beside the trail
hotly pursued by a second. The two headed directly for me, looked like they
were going to run right into me, until at the last second the first weasel
veered right, back into the grass. The second veered left, nearly colliding
with a gentleman and teenage boy before it dove for cover on the opposite
side of the trail. This all must have occured in a matter of a few seconds. Wow!
