One of the earliest accounts of Bald Eagle numbers in Washington
indicated that they were "the most abundant of the Falconiformes".
Lately, I have been musing about their possible return to this status.
In my own experience, they are once again Washington's most abundant
Falconiform. I was considering using Tweeters' species lists to
compile some numbers but I don't think I will get it done in a
rigorous way. But, I will be looking out for counts that either
support or refute this notion.
