Two one day trips to Eastern Washington this weekend produced a
Red-breasted Sapsucker at the Stampede Pass turn-off of I-90, many
Bobolinks and a Wilson's Phalarope along Lateral C road in Toppenish,
many Lewis' Woodpeckers at Fort Simcoe, a Red-eyed Vireo, Gray Catbird,
and many Veerys at the confluence of the Teanaway and Yakima Rivers, an
American Avocet along Adams Road off I-90 near George, and two Burrowing
Owls between mile markers 148 and 149 on the south side of I-90.
