My wife and I birded Southwestern Klickitat County today, May 31,
and found the following among other sightings:
A pair of LESSER GOLDFINCHES feeding a fledgling at Locke Lake,
just East of Bingen.
Several LESSER GOLDFINCHES and ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHERS at the
ponds along Balch Road.
A pair of WILSON'S PHALAROPES on the pond on Tidyman Road at
Dallesport.
In the town of Klickitat we found BLACK-CHINNED, ANNA'S,
CALLIOPE, and RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS coming to feeders at homes along the
main road through town.
