a single PACIFIC LOON on the Columbia R. off Maryhill State Park on
Saturday and five together below John Day Dam on Sunday behaving like a
flock of diving ducks.

a small mixed flock of COMMON and BARROW'S GOLDENEYEs on the Columbia R.
off Maryhill State Park on Saturday.

a flock (20+) of BONAPARTE'S GULLs below John Day Dam both days.

a LINCOLN'S SPARROW among the SONG, WHITE-CROWNED & GOLDEN-CROWNED
SPARROWs in Maryhill State Park on Saturday.

from one to four LESSER GOLDFINCH among the mixed flocks of HOUSE FINCH,
PINE SISKEN and AMERICAN GOLDFINCH in Maryhill State Park, Columbia
community cemetary and Maryhill Museum grounds.

Rained on Saturday from around 10am until after nightfall. Sunday
morning was often cloudy, but at least no rain.

Looked hard for owls in this area, but turned up not a trace or sign.
