All treats on Hallowe'en. The Oct. 31st Port Townsend Marine Science
Center Cruise to Protection Island was notable for the hundreds of Dunlin
performing an acrobatic ballet off of Rat Island and the two score of
Great Blue Heron taking wing in unison from Rat Island over to Indian
Island. Additionally, we spotted a small school of Harbor Porpoise on the
north side of Protection Island.

Remaining Protection Island Cruises are scheduled for Saturdays: Nov. 7th &
Nov. 28th (Thanksgiving weekend) and Thursday, Dec. 31st. All trips are
scheduled for a 1 pm departure and reservations are recommended. Discounts
