Amazing how the sight of a bird can chase away those Monday morning blues.
The crows drew my attention...angry, black crows above the big leaf maple
directly opposite the window nook in which I have my desk. Perched in the
tree to the left of Acer macrophyllum a female Coopers, and not a small
one. As large as a crow but the head not as square as Peterson's suggests.
A beautiful bird.
