I made a stop at Juanita Bay Wetlands Park this afternoon. Dark threatening
clouds made seeing difficult, but the birding was pretty good non-the-less.

The highlight was 55 CANVASBACK. I've never seen that many in one place.
Probably 2/3 of them were males. They swam into the bay from Lake
Washington, turned around, and swam back out.

A coyote was hunting in the grass between the two boardwalks.

There were around 40 Western Grebe, lots of Ring-necked Duck, scaup (Noted
Greater, didn't note Lesser), and 4 Common Snipe.

Also the first Cedar Waxwing I've seen in weeks.
