Sunday, 11-1, 12:28 PM. Hi, Scott Downes, 361-7073. This morning at Lincoln
Park I had an adult OSPREY fly over. It seems rather late and also at South
Bluff in Discovery Park, I just want you to know, the MOCKINGBIRD is still
around. It was hanging out in a clump of Oregon Grape in about the middle of
South Bluff. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Sunday, 11-1, 4:05 PM. Hi, this is Gene Revelas, (253) 756-7834. This
morning I birded Nisqually for a few hours with a good numbers of sparrows and
the highlight was a SWAMP SPARROW off the new observation deck just by the
barn, the twin barns, there's a little creek that runs past the observation

Sunday, 11-1, 6:58 PM. Hi, this is Stephen Mlodinow. On my way back from a
meeting in Portland today, I spent a couple of hours in the afternoon along
Wilapa Bay. A BAR- TAILED GODWIT was present at Tokeland along with 300 plus
MARBLED GODWITS and 9 WILLETS. Near Bruceport County Park was a juvenile RED
KNOT and at Bay Center there was a CASPIAN TERN. That's about it. Good luck

Monday, 11-2, 11:01 AM. Hi, this is Ed Swan, (206) 725-5013. The MOURNING
WARBLER that is listed on Vancouver Rare Bird Alert was fairly easily found up
on Sea Island near Vancouver. It's been using a softer chip and several
birders found it together there yesterday afternoon.

Monday, 11-2, 4:51 PM. Hi, this is Stephen Mlodinow. I went up to the Skagit
Headquarters today after the rain stopped. Had a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, perhaps
the same bird that was there a couple of weeks ago in a slightly different
location. There is a hedgerow that goes out from the boat launch parking lot.
On one side of this hedgerow is a field of corn and on the other side what I
believe is barley. The bird was about a 100 yards or so down from the parking
lot where there are several trees coming out of the thicket of heavy
blackberries. I wasn't actually able to see the bird but it was calling
frequently and active for quite a duration of time. Also at the Headquarters
area in general there were 3 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, a
few YELLOWRUMPS, a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW and superb numbers of LINCOLNS,
SONGS, FOXES and etc. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Tuesday, 11-3, 7:38 AM. Hello, this is Wayne Weber (604) 597-7201. Just to
report that the MOURNING WARBLER was still present on November, 1st on Sea
Island, Vancouver. It was seen by at least 20 to 25 observers. For further
information on this bird, please phone the Vancouver Rare Bird Tape, (604)
737-3074. The tape was out of service for a couple of weeks, but it's
operating again now. Also just for interest, there are BRAMBLINGS currently
present at Tofino on Vancouver Island, found on Oct. 28th and at Prince
Rupert, B.C. found on Nov. 1st. It might be worth people looking for
BRAMBLINGS in Western Washington. It might be a good year. That's it for now.

Wednesday, 11-4, 8:18 AM. Hello, this is Dave Beaudette (206) 365-2083. A
CLARK'S GREBE was seen in a group of 170 WESTERN GREBES on Elliott Bay,
yesterday, November 3rd. The bird was seen off Seacrest Park just north of
Saltine(?!?) on Alki which is in West Seattle along Harbor Avenue SW. That's
