in Salem Oregon, who has sold me any number of bird/birding books -
including my copy of the '57.

Also, the Gabrielson & Jewett (1940 OSU Press), and the Jewett et al.
(1953 UDub Press) have subspecies descriptions for the several birds
of the NW. I presume that some of these ssp names and taxonomies
have been revised in the past umpteen years since they were published.

Anyone out there in OBOL/Tweeter-land have an extra copy of the
American Ornithologist's Union 1957 edition of the checklist of North
American Birds that they would be willing to sell?? The 1998 7th
edition is nice, but I need sub-species info at the moment. Or does
anyone know of another good comprehensive source that would list
the sub-species that occur in Oregon and/or Washington?
