One of the other names for GBHs is Gopher Bird, because of their ability to
sit in fields and grab gophers. I have personally seen GBHs take all five
vertebrate groups. But this is the first time I have read of a GBH drowning
its victim. I have read accounts in the Condor of various hawks "drowning"
victims. There has been some discussion on whether or not they can
understand cause and effect well enough to say that they are actually
drowning an animal for the purpose of eatiing it.

Somewhere I have a slide of a GBH flying away with a Black Rail that it had
just caught, and I have a set of slides of one GBH eating a Sora Rail.
