I'm looking for a book on gulls. I live in Idaho, but am finding there
are more gulls than I would have suspected. What I'm looking for is
something with pictures and including juvenile(sigh) plumage. This year
we have had in addition to the Ring-billed, California, Franklin's,
Herring and Bonaparte's the following: Ross's, Mew, Glaucus, Sabines'
and now a Little Gull.

The Little Gull is being found in American Falls on the Snake River in
with about 600 Bonaparte's. It apparently (I will hunt it tomorrow) is
still partially in juvenile plumage and finding a picture that even came
close was not easy.

What would be a good book for me?
Is there a book in the Houghton Mifflin series? I have Shorebirds and
Waterfowl and both have been helpful.

I have appreciated the threads on gull identification and have printed
off several.
