Sightings for Saturday November 7th

The BLUE JAY was still at 6096 Inglewood Place in Delta and the WILLET was
still at the base of the Tsawwassen Jetty. An AMERICAN TREE SPARROW was in
the rough area east of the tennis courts at Jericho. A EURASIAN WIGEON was
at the east end of Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park.

Point Roberts had a ROCK SANDPIPER and 30 BLACK TURNSTONES at Lighthouse
Park, and 8 RED CROSSBILLS, a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER and an EARED GREBE at
Lily Point. Another EARED GREBE was at the 1001 steps in White Rock.

Up to 5 Bewick's race TUNDRA SWANS were seen from the very end of the
Roberts Bank jetty on the north side. Confirmation of this sighting is
requested. In an out-of-town sighting, a Whooper Swan was seen with a flock
of trumpeter swans in Courtney on Thursday. For more information, please

In a late report for Friday, A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was north of Grauer Road,
Sea Island. Two BARN OWLS were in the Cora Brown subdivision and a HARRIS'
SPARROW, LINCOLN'S SPARROW and a Harlan's race RED-TAILED HAWK were at
McDonald Beach.

Iona had a female TUFTED DUCK on the outer pond, a SNOW BUNTING on the
jetty and a BLACK TURNSTONE and PARASITIC JAEGER at the tip of the jetty

Sightings for Friday November 6th

Boundary Bay Regional Park had 9 BRANT and another 20 birds were at The
Tsawwassen Jetty. A WILLET was at the base of the Tsawwassen Jetty and 2
MARBLED GODWITS were at Beach Grove lagoon.

Sightings for Thursday November 5th

Four CRESTED MYNAHS were at 2nd and Wylie in Vancouver. A BARRED OWL was
at Montrose Park, which is at the north end of Boundary Road.
