Martha Jordan and Tweeters,

On November 5, five Trumpeter Swans were present most of the day
along the west margin of Quilcene Bay. One was a juvenile.
Toward the end of the day they flew north, veering a little west to
go up the valley towards Lake Leland and Crocker Lake.

A Eurasian Wigeon was also present near the mouth of the Quilcene
River. Also, many scaup present on the bay.

The waterfowl sure get up and fly when the local Bald Eagle decides
to make a flying pass over the bay. Wonder why...
