Subject: Lyle, WA-The Dalles,OR Christmas Bird Count-->December 26th

Hello,

This is the first notice that the 3rd annual Lyle Christmas Bird Count will
be held Saturday, December 26th, 1998. It is my hope to regularly hold it the
Saturday between Christmas and New Years, so that if the weather is
impossible that Saturday, we have an opportunity to reschedule within the 3
weekend (2 week period).

In general, we will not be meeting at the beginning of the Count; I will be
at the Lyle Cafe at 7 am to gather any folks that may have seen a notice in
the paper and made a last minute decision to participate.

I anticipate that we will have a catered dinner in Lyle for our Compilation
(Count down) Dinner as we did for the Fall North American Migration Count in
September.
