"At an October Senate hearing, NMFS, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers promised to destroy the habitat before the
1999 nesting season. The government has just released issue an
Environmental Assessment for public comment; feedback is due by November 30.
