Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about gull I.D. books. Several
mentioned Grant's book and I believe that is what was used in
identifying the Little Gull. I do want that one. The video I didn't know
about and will order. Harrison's Seabirds may be a third purchase one
of these days.

What you all have done is get me past the, "oh yuck I can't sort out
gulls" to "well maybe the adults", to "darn it, I want to learn these
birds." That's what birding does to us!

I do have Kaufman's "Advanced Birding" and it is a good one.
