Due to the tragedy of Mitch in Central America, I won't be leaving for Costa
Rica until March (many thanks to all of you who offered thoughts and ideas on
where to bird in CR; we;ll be making use of it come March). However, we will
take a week to go to the big island of Hawaii in late November...any
suggestions for birding hot spots there at that time?

P.S: Coopers Hawk at the north end of the U. District in Seattle this Monday
morning, just south of NE 52nd and Brooklyn Ave, perched in a big leaf maple
for several minutes checking out breakfast options.
