Perhaps Andy needs to be reminded of couple of things:

1. the engine of insight is fueled by differing intellectual
perspective... (read that again...use it in a paragraph
and it will be yours, etc... :)

i.e., without the controversy we would have
a nice, tame little mutual admiration society..which,
although less stressful for some members, would yield
little knowledge. We have had many interchanges over
the years and are fortunate enough have members on this
List who are willing to take the time to explain to the
non-scientists among us, some of the science behind our
assertions.. for that, we shouldn't complain and
probably ought to be charged tuition.. :)

2. the Delete button works just fine..I use it liberally
when necessary..


so, I suppose if we get out of sorts, we can pick up our
marbles and leave...but, I would like to say I appreciate
the time and energy Don Baccus, Burt Guttman and others
have invested to try and establish some rational process
and move this discussion beyond the "feelings."
