You are absolutely right.

And those who deny science mostly seem willing to enjoy the fruits of
the labor of those who practice science, and its workmates engineering
and mathematics.

Those fundies who not only deny modern science, and also refuse to
benefit by at least of the advances gained by greater understanding
(modern medicine, for instance), are at least trying to live their
lives in a manner somewhat consistent with their beliefs.
