Email can often be misread as being overly blunt or mean-spirited,
so people who participate in it should wear their thick skinned coats.

But long deliberately nasty personal attacks are what clutter up
the list, not occasional 'whiners.'

BIRDING: We will be making our annual post Thanksgiving day trek
to Reifel, although we'll spend Fri in Victoria ogling Leonardo,
then Saturday in Reifel.

The weather in the past has, more often than not, been abysmal.

I've been skimming posts, but have there been any reports of
snowy owls and large flocks of snow geese.

One of my most memorable birding experiences was when my wife
'dragged' me up there and as we turned the corner there was
a field of snow geese, approx. 3,000+.

Although it's always fun to handfeed the chickadees and
nuthatches in 40 mph gales and rain.
