Also on Saturday, November 7, 1998, I found over 100 Hooded Mergansers
on Coeur d'Alene Lake, Kootenai County, Idaho. I'm not sure they were one
large flock or several smaller flocks but there was definitely over 100
Hoodies. I have never seen that many hoodies in my life, let alone at one
spot. For those of you who know the area, it was at the intersection of
Harlow Point Road and Idaho State Route 97 near the town of Harrison.
